FAQ: California United Strikers FC COVID-19 Stadium Protocols 

 

 Q: How can I purchase tickets?

 

All tickets need to be purchased online and in advance through: www.calunitedstrikers.com/tickets 

  • All fans must be California residents and seating pods may only include members of the same “household” or “audience group” (as defined by Orange County protocols)
  • Seats will be assigned via section number (please reference our Championship Soccer Stadium seating chart) and you must remain in those same seats for the duration of the match. 

 

 Q: How will I receive my tickets?

After purchasing tickets online they will be delivered as a PDF file directly to the email address provided. You can either print the tickets at home or show those tickets directly from your smartphone at the entrance gate. Physical printing at the box office windows will not be enable this year.

 

 Q: Will there be limited capacity of fans at California United Strikers FC home matches this year?

Yes, with health and well-being top of mind, California United Strikers FC will follow CDC social distancing guidelines and the guidance of state and local authorities. Capacity is currently restricted to 33% of the stadium.

 

 Q: For limited capacity matches, will I have to practice social distancing while at the stadium?

 

Yes, fans must watch the game from their own seats (assigned by section) for the duration of the match and refrain from gathering on the concourse. 

 

 Q: What are the key principles that were considered in creating a responsible environment during the COVID-19 pandemic?

The following principles are the primary factors when developing the California United Strikers FC responsible stadium plan to welcome spectators back to the Championship Soccer Stadium:

  • Social distancing in-stadium 
  • Mandated face masks at all times
  • Rigorous cleaning and disinfecting protocols throughout the venue 
  • Robust hygiene protocols for all fans and staff
  • Clear signage, wayfinding and posted education/protocol for all fans and staff
  • Symptom screenings and COVID testing performed on all team staff and players
  • Regular review and adjustment to evolving circumstances
     

Q: Will I be able to bring bags into the stadium?

 

Bags are permitted inside Championship Soccer Stadium; all bags are subject to inspection from security personnel. Please refer to our prohibited items list for what can and cannot be brought into the stadium: www.calunitedstrikers.com/prohibted-items

 

 Q: Will face masks/coverings be mandatory?

For as long as required by local and state health authorities, face coverings will be required for all (including working staff and ticketholders) once inside the stadium. The only acceptable time to remove your mask is while you are actively eating and drinking at your designated seats.

 Q: Do I need to bring my own hand sanitizer?

You may bring your own, but touchless hand sanitizer and other hygiene products will be available throughout the stadium during the pandemic

 Q: What should I expect when entering the stadium while the special pandemic protocols are in place?

Until further notice, the following protocols will be in place:

  • Queue lines will be enforced to maintain social distancing guidelines as required per the current government orders
  • Ticketholders must enter through Main Gate only

 

 Q: How do I know where to park when I arrive?

All parking for Championship Soccer Stadium matches will be in Parking Lots 1 and 3. Parking is free. For a parking map and directions please visit: www.calunitedstrikers.com/parking--directions

Q: Are we able to stand and cheer?

Absolutely! However, we do ask that you do so from your designated seat and please refrain from congregating on the concourses. While cheering, your mask will need to remain on.

 Q: Will concession stands be open?

No, unfortunately concessions and merchandise will not be available for purchase at the match until further notice. 

Q: Will the restrooms be open?

Yes. Stadium restrooms are configured to promote social distancing and are regularly cleaned by the stadium staff.
