CAL UNITED STRIKERS FC MEETS WITH VISTA CHARTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The charter school is the second school to sign up for our Adopt a School Program.

 

Santa Ana, CA – Cal United Strikers has partnered with Vista Charter Public Schools to connect the world’s sport to the children and families of Santa Ana, CA through our Adopt a School Program. Vista Charter Public Schools includes Vista Condor Global Academy (grades K-5), Vista Heritage Global Academy (grades 6-8) and Vista Meridian Global Academy (grades 9-12). We will be working with Vista Charter Public Schools throughout the school year.

 

We are hosting Vista Charter Public Schools on Saturday, October 16. The schools have been awarded School of the Game. We are recognizing the students’ academic achievements on the field at half-time. The school choir is performing the national anthem and the school’s soccer team is playing at half-time.

 

We look forward to working with Vista Charter Public Schools throughout the school year. We are excited to use soccer to inspire the Vista students and their community.

 

Our Adopt a School Program is customized to each schools' needs and goals. The program consists of three core pillars—Youth Soccer, Academics, and Community Service & Partnerships.

 

Youth Soccer

 

Cal United Strikers FC is deeply committed to bringing the game of soccer to children and families who may otherwise not have access to programs that are hosted by professional coaches and staff.

 

The goal is to develop and grow the game of soccer through initiatives that give back.

 

Academics

 

Promoting a love and excitement for learning is a core value for Cal United Strikers FC. That is why Cal United Strikers FC operates a number of academically focused programs that support student achievement.

 

The initiatives promote literacy, they motivate students to become better readers, and they celebrate distinguished schools throughout Orange County.

Cal United Strikers FC's impact in the schools’ communities can only be matched by the depth and inspiration it finds in the students, parents, and school staff that it is proud to support. Every year is an opportunity for the team, players, and staff to give of their time and build stronger ties in the schools’ communities.
